A “Just-So” story for the Potterverse. The first iteration of this story was my sample piece, intended to show prospective authors what I meant when I asked them for permission to base a publication on their work. It was pretty thoroughly redesigned when I went to the faux 2-page spread layout a couple of years later.

Since I used (with permission) the work of a local artist in it, it was exported in a non-printable format. It can be downloaded for offline reading and copied, however.

Those of you who have explored the essay collection over in Commentary will have encountered Ms Glover before, and are aware that she does not actually exist.
